Chrome OS and Android merging???

If it does merge, I hope it is the other way around and that Android folds into Chrome and not the other way round as the wall street journal post suggest.

Chrome OS already allows android apps to run via ARC (App Runtime for Chrome) and it works pretty well. My app (simple as it is) required 0 new code to get it running in Chrome. Even though it is not supported on Windows/Mac, it works perfectly well.

Chrome is missing apps. Get ARC working well with Play Services and you have a very power platform.

Also as Chrome was built around always getting updates, you will always have the latest version of chrome, with the latest Runtime version. No need to wait for stupid updates to come your way.

I think one thing that is needed in the Android SDK is better UI elements for HTML and CSS. I think the development in polymer could help and if that is then integrated into the API it will really help.

I don't see the logic going from Chrome to Android. It does…

Can L.E.A.N (Light, Encrypted, Ad choice supported, Non-invasive ads) save digital advertising??

About time some advertiser realise that they are screwing up online advertisement, but is it too little too late? I sure hope not. Advertising is key to an open and democratic web. We need it and we need to make sure content creators are getting paid. It is the main reason I refuse to use ad blockers even though they speed up web pages and stop third party scripts from executed (I block flash by default). It needs to be fixed ASAP.

Getting LEAN with Digital Ad UX | IAB
We messed up. As technologists, tasked with delivering content and services to users, we lost track of the user experience. Twenty years ago we saw an explosion of websites, built by developers around the world, providing all forms of content. This was the beginning of an age of enlightenment, the intersection of content and technology. … Continued

New app in the play store to fix Sleep of Death issues on some Android device

Pushed out a new application to the play store to help get rid of sleep of death issues on Android Device, or Nexus 4 in my case. Basically made the application for myself and been testing it out with some users who are also having the same issues. After some testing with them it seems to have fix it so why not push it out :)
